Yes. The Google Ads Transparency Centre is a public resource. Any brand that runs Google ads has their ad creatives publicly visible there. The connector gives Claude structured access to that same public data, so you can research any advertiser by name or domain.
Google's Ads Transparency Centre uses internal advertiser IDs, not brand names, to identify advertisers. The find_google_advertiser tool resolves the brand name or domain into the correct verified advertiser ID. Claude then passes that ID automatically to get_google_ads. You never need to handle the ID yourself - just name the brand.
